About Us

Who We Are

St Aoko Medical Centre is a community-based hospital developed as the in-house medical facility of Hawi Global Foundation, an organization with over a decade of experience providing free medical and surgical services to marginalized communities across Kenya. 

Our facility is designed to bridge gaps in healthcare access, strengthen local health systems, and pilot a first-of-its-kind universal healthcare model engineered to make healthcare free for the end user—permanently. 

Our Services

Inpatient Services

Our inpatient services offer round-the-clock care for patients requiring hospitalization. We provide comfortable private and semi-private rooms equipped with modern amenities to promote healing and recovery.

Outpatient Services

Our outpatient department (OPD) delivers efficient and accessible care without the need for overnight stays. We handle consultations, diagnostic tests, and treatments for various ailments.

Maternal & Child Health

Our Maternal & Child Health (MCH) unit provides holistic care from conception through early childhood. We offer family planning counseling, pediatric check-ups, immunizations, and nutritional guidance.

Antenatal & Postnatal Care

Our antenatal and postnatal services are designed to support expectant and new mothers throughout their journey. This includes regular check-ups, ultrasound scans, nutritional advice, and high-risk pregnancy management.

Laboratory & Diagnostics

Our fully equipped laboratory provides accurate and timely diagnostic testing to aid in disease detection and treatment planning. We offer a broad spectrum of tests including blood work, urine analysis, microbiology, pathology, and advanced screenings.

Pharmacy

Our pharmacy stocks a wide range of prescription and over-the-counter medications, ensuring patients have immediate access to their treatments. Our licensed pharmacists provide medication counseling and dosage instructions.

24 Hours Emergency

Our Emergency Department (ED) is prepared to handle life-threatening situations 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Staffed by board-certified emergency physicians, nurses, and paramedics, we provide rapid assessment and treatment.

Dental Services

Our dental clinic offers comprehensive oral health care in a relaxed and hygienic setting. Services include routine cleanings, fillings, extractions, root canals, crowns, and cosmetic procedures like whitening and orthodontics.

Minor Surgeries

Our minor surgery unit provides safe and efficient outpatient surgical care. We perform operations such as mole removals, cyst excisions, wound suturing, biopsies, and minor orthopedic fixes under local anesthesia.
